We look forward to hearing from you.

The basic principles of chiropractic are not new.  They are as old as the vertebrae themselves.  The word chiropractic comes from the Greek word chiro, meaning hand, and practos, meaning done, i.e. done by hand.

Daniel David Palmer is credited with giving the first chiropractic adjustment  on September 18, 1895.  The first adjustment was done on Harvey Lilland, a deaf African American janitor.   His hearing was restored after receiving the first chiropractic adjustment .      D. D. Palmer also, established the first chiropractic college in 1897 in Davenport, Iowa.  The profession has now marked its 129th anniversary.

B.J. Palmer, D.D. Palmer's son, is deemed the developer of chiropractic.  The Palmer College of Chiropractic is still going in Davenport, Iowa.  Kansas was the first state to license chiropractors in 1913.  Today all 50 state, the  District of Columbia, all U.S. territories, and more than 50 countries worldwide license chiropractors

From a humble start in 1895, chiropractic grew into a worldwide movement, universally accepted.  Chiropractic, a healing, distinctively scientific discovery, believes that nerves send the life-force to every muscle and tissue which in turn sustains every organ.

The "doctor of the future", Edison once said, "will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in care of the human frame...and in the cause and prevention of disease".  "The physician of tomorrow will have no interest in pathology or morbid anatomy for his study will be of health. ", this was said by Dr. Edward Bach, a bacteriologist.
